DescriptionMillwood State Park was set aside as a recreational state park because of the lake’s record size fish, but new interest in the park’s amazing animal diversity may move this park from a recreational category and mindset into a nature category and mindset. ProgramsInterpretive programs upon request. With a diverse habitat and opportunities to view nature, Millwood State Park is an excellent source of environmental education. A Park Interpreter is available seasonally to provide tours, demonstrations, and other programs. In addition, several special events are held throughout the year.
